Pop singer Britney Spears has reportedly been reunited with her mother Lynne Spears, following a recent fall-out.

According to People magazine, the pair have been photographed together in Los Angeles in recent days.

However, the report suggests that Spears was seen arguing with her mother while on a visit to a car dealership.

An onlooker said: “Lynne and Britney were arguing in the car the whole time. They’re both upset and arguing, not having a good time at all.”

“After she came out, she pulled over to the side of the road to argue with her mom more,” the source said

The thrills behind the thriller that Anurag Basu is making for Rakesh Roshan with Hrithik in the lead are getting more thrilling than the film itself. The hunt for the leading lady for Hrithik is getting more intense. Several names had been put forward. Apparently Rakesh Roshan who is very close to Anil Kapoor and very fond of Sonam wanted to cast her. But Sonam, frightfully conscious of her conservative image begged off. The role requires the girl to get seriously sexy with Hrithik.

Says Hrithik, “I’d love to work with Sonam. But not on this project. The role doesn’t do justice to her. We’re looking at someone from abroad, someone Latin American or Brazilian. So yeah, in that sense this would be my first international project.” Director Anurag Basu says Sonam doesn’t suit the role. “We’ve looked at many names, known and unknown in Bollywood. But that ‘it’ factor eludes us. I am getting quite jittery. The girl’s role is extremely bold. Actually we’ve decided to cast someone international, preferably Brazilian, because that’s the personality and profile of the leading lady in my film.” According to reliable reports, the girl chosen for the part is the Channel V model Bruna Abdullah. Child of an Arabian mother and Brazilian father Bruna has been stationed in Mumbai waiting for Bollywood to happen. She performed an extremely bold item song for Anubhav Sinha’s Cash recently.

What’s Kabir Khan up to these days? Post KABUL EXPRESS, one kept hearing that Kabir’s working on his next film. Well, the cat is out of the bag. The director has had successful meetings with John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh for his new venture.

“I keep talking to John regularly. Even when I wasn’t working on the new film, I’d still talk to him about various things. Our conversations aren’t work-specific. As for Neil, he’s part of the Yash Raj family, so I keep bumping into him all the while. But, let me clarify, I haven’t discussed work with either John or Neil,” Kabir informs me.

But Kabir is ready to make the big announcement soon. “Yes, we plan to start the film in summer, so ideally we should be ready with the cast by February-end,” he adds.

R&B superstar RIHANNA has dismissed reports accusing fellow singer BEYONCE KNOWLES of breaking her toe in a jealous fight - insisting the rumours are “crazy”.
The SOS hitmaker denies a bitter rivalry between herself and the former Destiny’s Child star was sparked by her collaboration with Knowles’ hip-hop mogul boyfriend Jay-Z on hit single Umbrella.
The 19-year-old told British magazine Star, “That’s crazy. Not at all (is it true). “It (breaking her toe) happened on vacation. I’d just got there and couldn’t sleep, so I wanted my best friend to go in the pool with me.
“I ran into her room and straight into a solid mahogany chair. It hurt so much - my toe was pointing to the side.”

Well-known writer Milap Zaveri is ready to take the plunge. After writing a number of successful films, the talented writer is ready to don a new role — direction. Milap’s directorial debut, tentatively titled JAANE KAHAN SE AAYEE HAIN, will star Ritesh Deshmukh, Ayesha Takia and Ruslan Mumtaz [who made his debut in MERA PEHLA PEHLA PYAAR] in lead roles. Nikhil Advani and Mukesh Talreja will produce the film, which is expected to roll in August/September.

“Three people were instrumental in helping me take this big step. Ritesh and I had developed a great rapport in Australia, when he was shooting for HEYY BABYY. I owe a lot to him. Sajid Khan allowed me to learn the ropes of filming during the Australia schedule. I keenly observed the entire process of HEYY BABYY and Sajid was gracious enough to allow me to be his assistant. The third person is, of course, Nikhil Advani. I generally discuss my scripts with him and when I narrated the plot of this film to Nikhil, he promptly said that he’d like to produce it. I was speechless… and flattered,” Milap reminisces.

Antonio Banderas has been ordered to demolish a portion of his £5 million (US$9.6 million) Spanish home.

The ‘Mask of Zorro’ star has become the latest target of the Spanish government’s efforts to clean up illegal developments. A Malaga court ruled an extension to his beachfront Costa del Sol property near Marbella was constructed without the proper licence.

Banderas was told Marbella town officials should never have allowed the previous owner to build a 300-square-foot extension in 1995. The addition represents about a fifth of the entire home.
The 47-year-old actor has been given eight weeks to tear down the section of his holiday home, which he named ‘La Gaviota’ or ‘The Seagull’ when he purchased it with wife Melanie Griffith 11 years ago.

Movie prices have hit the roof. With OM SHANTI OM and WELCOME fetching astronomical prices from buyers and also faring exceptionally well at the ticket window, the pricing of forthcoming films is only going higher and higher with each passing day.

The latest is, a leading industrial house has pitched for JODHAA AKBAR. Reportedly, the industrial house has offered Rs. 90 crores for the global distribution rights of the film, inclusive of the lucrative satellite rights. “Really? Is that the rumor doing the rounds of the industry?” Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV breaks into a big smile, when you question him about it, “It’s not true. We haven’t been offered that amount by anyone.”

But what if there’s an offer, will UTV accept it? “We haven’t taken a stand yet. It all depends on who makes the offer. After all, JODHAA AKBAR is our baby and our prime concern is to give it the best possible release,” Siddharth states.

 Angelina Jolie fuelled pregnancy rumours when she showed up at the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in a flowy strapless dress.
The star sashayed along the red carpet with partner Brad Pitt in tow, and once inside, the pair were inseparable, stealing kisses and holding hands through out the ceremony.
It has been reported that the Tomb Raider star is expecting twins with Pitt, who accompanied her to the awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
The speculation was further heightened by the loose and billowy vintage designer dress Ange wore to the do. “She is glowing, in great spirits and totally beaming,” a website quoted a witness as saying.
Jolie was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her role as Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart.
