Aishwarya Rai has left for Peru to shoot for Enthiram (Robot) along with Rajnikanth. But her heart is in Mumbai with her ailing father who is undergoing chemotherapy.

She was all bent upon ministering to her father but had to leave because of the call of work. “I hardly got enough time to do the things that are really important to me like spend time with my parents, specially my father who’s been very unwell. Barely was I back from The Unforgettable concert that I had to leave. That’s the hard part of being who I am. The show always has to go on,” quips Aishwarya Rai.

Peru is a place I’ve never shot in before. I’d have liked to be with my parents more. But what to do? On Friday, Mani Ratnam flew in from Chennai. Mani discussed the film with me and Abhishek until late into the night. On Friday evening, I also had to drop in at my friend dress-designer Ana Singh’s store opening. I had absolutely no time. But there was no way I could say no to her. So I’ve hardly slept. And now, here I am on a 22-hour flight to Peru,” said Aishwarya while in transit in Dubai

Aishwarya Rai has a huge fan following all over the world and she was grateful to her fans for all their good wishes that they had sent through phone calls and through messages for quick recovery of her ailing father.
