 Internet rumours spread quickly earlier this week about a tape alleged to feature Shakira engaging in a threesome on a yacht with pop star Alejandro Sanz and her boyfriend, Antonio de la Rua.
Argentine DJ Javier Ceriani helped spread the rumour by making comments about the “sex tape” on his Zona Cero radio show.
He said: “It’s been said … there is a private video recorded on a yacht, one that could implicate Alejandro Sanz, Shakira and Antonio de la Rua.”
He suggested the tape was in the hands of the courts.
But representatives for the stars denied a tape exists.
In a joint statement, the singers’ representatives said: “This is a false rumour. This is totally absurd any way you look at it. There is no possibility that such a video exists.
“It is a baseless and malicious rumour.”

 How I Met Your Mother features a high-profile guest appearance tonight — Vancouver’s Sarah Chalke!
Oh, and somebody called Britney Spears.
Spears plays a receptionist, Abby, who becomes smitten with Ted (Josh Radnor), in the ratings-challenged but critically favoured sitcom.
Chalke, for her part, plays Stella, Ted’s “beautiful dermatologist,” according to CBS’s press notes. Think of it as a sitcom version of Bob & Ted & Carol & Alice: Ted wants to land a date with Stella, but she’s not interested; Abby — who’s developed a huge, spazzy crush on Ted — wants to land a date with the big galoot, but he’s not interested. Mirth ensues.
Spears’s appearance came about during her recent tabloid travails, when her agent approached How I Met Your Mother’s producers out-of-the-blue about a possible guest appearance. The writers’ strike had just been settled; How I Met Your Mother was slated to return with new episodes starting last week; and the rest, as they say, is history. Or herstory, if you prefer.

The newest disciple of Constantin Stanislavski’s renowned Method acting technique is none other than Miss Foxy Cleopatra herself, Beyonce Knowles. Fresh off of her exciting and unexpected upset of Kanye West in a heated match of Connect Four, Beyonce arrived on the set of Cadillac Ranch this week determined to regain all of the buzz that Jennifer Hudson usurped from her in Showgirls Dreamgirls. In fact, she’s so dedicated to making her performance as Etta James shine that she’s taken to staying in character both on and off the set. As this Media Take Out tipster reports:
I was at the (swanky New York City celebrity hotspot) Waverly Inn a few nights ago and you’ll never guess who showed up - Beyonce … Beyonce was sitting next to some White guy who kept saying to her ‘Don’t worry Etta, ignore it Etta.’”
While we’re not entirely sure exactly who said “White guy” is or, for that matter, what prompted “White guy” to reassuringly address Beyonce by her character’s name, we do know that Daniel Day-Lewis wasn’t spotted traipsing around the booming New Mexico club scene when he was filming There Will Be Blood.

 Nicole Kidman is set to hit the catwalk for a charity fashion show in Melbourne, Austrailia.
The actress will join other celebrities to model creations by different designers in the fashion show to support children affected by cancer at the Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne.
Nicole will model clothes by Indian designers Rahul Jain and Gunjan Arora, reports The Hindu newspaper.
Their label ‘Sirali,’ is known for using a unique method where the cloth is prepared using a mix of coloured threads to create an effect of embroidery resembling a huge painting.
“Kidman will wear a long sherwani like blue jacket with lots of red and yellow. The design on the jacket will look like somebody has embroidered the design, but it is a patented method of ours. The different colours blend on the garment to create the effect of an art,” says Rahul Jain to the newspaper.

While at the Academy Awards late last month in LA, actress Nicole Kidman, 40, was reportedly approached by an enthusiastic Cameron Diaz, 35, who spoke with the expectant mother and then asked to touch her belly. Woman’s Day reports,
Cameron asked if she could touch Nicole’s baby bump and Nic agreed. She was just glowing, and proud that people were showing interest in her baby.
Nicole and husband Keith Urban, also 40, expect their first child in July. They know the sex, but are not sharing.

 Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly set to hold a $200,000 party for Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony to celebrate the birth of their twins.
Cruise, 45, and Holmes, 29, are good friends with Lopez and Anthony and have arranged a ‘Welcome to the World’ bash for the couple’s newborn boy and girl.
A source said: “Tom and Katie are thrilled for Jennifer and Marc and have offered to throw a party for the twins next month.”

Kirsten Dunst’s hard-partying ways drove her and former beau Jake Gyllenhaal apart, a pal dished to Us Weekly. Dunst, who entered Utah’s Cirque Lodge rehab earlier this month, and Gyllenhaal dated for three years before calling it quits in 2005. “Jake was turned off by all the partying,” the pal says. Multiple sources confirmed the “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People” star regretted the breakup and started going out and drinking even more after the split. “There was no such thing as ‘just the one (drink)’ for her,” a source said. Dunst’s rep denies that drinking led to the 2005 breakup.

Radcliffe, 18, and Watson, 17, tried to avoid attention as they huddled together in a London beer garden on Valentine’s night, The Mirror reports.
“(Watson) kept looking over her shoulder nervously as if she didn’t wanted to be recognised,” an onlooker was reported as saying.
“When people started to notice the couple and began pointing, she wrapped her scarf around her head so only her eyes were peeping out.”

 There was an awkward moment for Rihanna and Jay Z as the pair scooped a Grammy for their collaboration ‘Umbrella.’
Rhianna tried to hold Jay Z’s hand as the pair walked up to collect their rap collaboration award but the rapper shook the singer’s hand away.
Cameras then caught Rihanna throwing her hands up in the air as if to say, ‘What’s wrong?’
The pair then distanced themselves on the stage as they were presented with their trophy. The scenes were made all the more awkward by the fact Jay Z’s girlfriend Beyonce was watching from just feet away.
Last week Rihanna tried to quash rumors that she was romantically linked to the rapper.

 New films starring Hollywood sirens Penelope Cruz and Julia Roberts premiered at the 58th Berlin Film Festival Sunday, bringing celebrity mega-wattage to tragic personal stories.
Cruz plays a literature student who falls for her womanising professor (Ben Kingsley) before an illness strikes in “Elegy”, an adaptation of a Philip Roth novel by Spanish filmmaker Isabel Coixet.
The picture, in the running for the Berlinale’s Golden Bear top prize, deals with the elusive nature of physical beauty and includes several nude scenes with Cruz, who routinely ranks among the world’s most stunning women.
But she brushed away reporters’ questions about her appearance, saying she had never been typecast as a pretty face or seen her sex appeal diminish her opportunities as an actress.
