Insiders claim that executives at Jive Records - the label Britney is signed to - want to release it now, while media attention is focused on the singer.Last weekend, Spears picked-up three awards at the MTV VMAs and it’s thought this has triggered the label’s interest in quickly putting out the record.

50 Cent has been given visitation rights by a Long Island judge, who ruled in favour of the rapper - meaning Fiddy can now see his 11 year old Marquis.
50 - real name Curtis Jackson - and the boy’s mother Shaniqua Tomkins, had to take drug tests at the hearing. Unfortunately for Tomkins however, her test showed she had cough syrup in her system (says TMZ.com), while Jackson was proven to be drug-free.
As such, the rapper was granted visitation rights and can also have an unrestricted visit between August 3rd-12th. A re-visit in court is scheduled for September 15th.

Rapper 50 Cent put down the microphone midway through Thursday’s House of Blues concert and let his friends and fans sing to him. Fiddy’s birthday is days away, so they sang him “Happy Birthday” - inlaid with gunshot sound effects. The rapper’s smile widened. He rubbed his beard.
Another year older, but the same old 50 Cent.
The “In da Club” artist performed Thursday with his rap group, G-Unit, in support of the new album, “T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight).” It’s the sophomore release for G-Unit, made up of childhood friends 50, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. The group is leaner now (earlier this year, 50 Cent cut a fourth member, Young Buck, for insubordination) but just as mean as before, with new tracks like the Fat Joe diss “Rider Pt. 2.”
The show opened with rapper O’Neal McKnight dancing and rhyming and continued through to D.J. Enuff, who introduced G-Unit around 11:15. The Gangsters entered wearing white Navy suits and hats, but tossed them aside for t-shirts after a few songs.

While Hot 97’s Miss Jones was going about her normal morning show on Monday morning (April 7), the radio personality came onto the topic of 50 Cent, discussing his recent lawsuit between him and the mother of his son.
When listeners and the talk got a little out of bounds, in 50’s eyes, he called in to clear the air.
For those unaware, the rapper recently won a lawsuit in which he was given the right to evict his ex-girlfriend, their son, and his ex’s current boyfriend from a million dollar home he purchased. When Miss Jones called 50 out for evicting them, citing his ex’s past of holding him, according to his loosely based autobiographical film, “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, the rapper called in.
“That’s a movie,” 50 explained. “I tried to paint a more positive outlook on her. She’s not my shorty on the side, I haven’t dealt with her since 2003… she’s not a nurse, [her new boyfriend] is a nurse. He’s an RN… a regular.

Himesh has had enough of his status as a one-man music industry. At least for now.
In his forthcoming films he wants to introduce at least one new singer in each one of his forthcoming starrers.
Himesh feels he owes it to the industry. “I think I must give new talent to the music industry because even I was a newcomer once. And fresh untried talent always works since my music usually caters to a younger audience which is always on the look-out for fresh unconventional voices.”
For Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke which is a love triangle Himesh intends to introduce new singing talent for the two leading ladies Niharika Singh and Jennifer Kotwal. “I came across some mindblowing female voices while I was judging Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.I’ll be using these for M2KNDM2K”.
On Friday Himesh Reshammiya recorded his 75th song.
“I’ve already released fifty songs and I intend to use the twenty-five songs that I’ve in my music bank for the four films Karzzzz, Kajraare, A Love Iiisshtory and Mudh Nudh Ke Na Dekh that I’m starring in.”

“50 Cent: Blood on the Sand” is the name of 50 Cent’s second video game due to be released this fall by Vivendi Game Sierra label. In an interview for MTV News on Wednesday, the rapper said that he was inspired by his son and by Leonardo Di Caprio’s movie ‘Blood Diamond.” Furthermore, 50 promises that this second game will be way better than the first one called “50 Cent: Bulletproof” which only grossed $31 million.
David Kim, Sierra’s marketing veep explained why they decided to make the second game: “The research showed that there is definitely interest in a second game. We’re trying to work on improving the game quality,” he said according to Variety.
50 Cent told MTV that “Blood on the Sand” is more realistic than “Bulletproof”: “I think for entertainment purposes it’s better to do something like that than to make it feel like it’s totally real. Because you’ve got some people out there, people that should be in Creedmor [psychiatric facility] that are still on the street. They can’t decipher between entertainment and reality, so you gotta make it a little more out-there.”

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s sixth album was heralded not by an extensive media campaign - pleading itchiness about internet piracy, his label sent The Massacre to journalists after the album’s release date - but a hail of gunfire. The more waspish observer might suggest that, in Jackson’s case, the two amount to the same thing. You would certainly be hard pushed to find another gangsta rapper who has traded so heavily on violence, who has turned a propensity for getting himself stabbed or shot - as a result of provoking pointless arguments with other rappers - into a career.
And what a career. Jackson’s last album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, sold 11 million copies. Piggy Bank, its follow-up’s key track, notes correctly that his achievements did not end there. Not even Eminem can interest the public in his Detroit “posse”, D12, but - as Piggy Bank puts it with phrasing you could consider either deeply unfortunate or disarmingly honest - Jackson can currently make even his friends’ “shit sell”. Those friends included the Game, Young Buck and Lloyd Banks, whose name raises the hope that future 50 Cent proteges will be called things like Bark Layz, First Die Wrecked and Halle Faxx.

US rapper 50 Cent is headed down under as a guest of next month’s MTV Australia Awards.
The 11 times Grammy-nominated artist and movie star will join already announced acts, Juliet Lewis and fellow hip hop star Eve at the awards, to be held in Sydney on April 26.
“He is one of the biggest selling rap artists in history and there is no doubt that he is going to put a fantastic performance together for the awards show,” MTV Australia’s Ean Thorley told smh.com.au. “For MTV we are really concerned with his music, what he does out of life is not of concern to us.”
50 Cent, real name Curtis James Jackson III is as famous for his off stage life as he is for his music; including six months in prison in 1994 for selling cocaine and receiving nine bullet wounds in an attack in 2000.
He now heads up a multi-million dollar empire that includes a record label, clothing line, soft drink and even his own brand of condoms.
Fellow rap star Snoop Dogg, billed as a guest of the 2007 awards, was denied a visa due to drug charges but Thorley said he was hopeful 50 Cent, who last toured Australia in 2006, would be permitted entry.

Now, the two will take on a large opponent as they face The Big Show at WWE’s upcoming Wrestlemania XXIV. “We got a friendship,” Mayweather told MTV recently. “We talk about business a little bit. We talked about it when Coca-Cola bought VitaminWater. He said, ‘You didn’t see what I just did?’ [I said,] ‘Of course I did. Congratulations. Now you have to take me out to eat.’”
According to reports, Mayweather will be paid $20 million for his appearance at Wrestlemania. No reports have been released as to how much 50 will make.
WWE has also enlisted the help of John Legend, who is set to kick off the event with a rendition of the “America the Beautiful.”
Snoop Dogg will also join the WWE for an all-Diva fight called, “BunnyMania Lumberjack Match.”
